Workshop Presenter CArtsCon 2021: Julie Flower

Julie Flower is a leadership and team development consultant, facilitator and coach with a special interest in enabling people to work creatively and adaptably within complex systems.  Her work draws on evidence-based theories and approaches, including from organisational psychology and behavioural science.  She is also an improvised comedy performer and regularly performs internationally, including with duo Twinprov and Improbotics, melding AI with improv to explore new scientific and creative frontiers.

For CArtsCon 2020, Julie will present the following:

Human sculpture: building connections and gaining perspective

We all exist as part of many complex systems.  It is often difficult to understand others’ perspectives from our own position, leaving many feeling isolated or misunderstood.  In this experiential workshop, organisational development consultant and improviser,  Julie Flower, will
use 3D sculpts involving everyone in the room to encourage greater insight, empathy and understanding.  Building on techniques used in systemic team coaching and constellations, we will explore how systems and those within them can make meaningful change, building bridges and strengthening connections to achieve extraordinary things.
