Dr Julian Ng loves Canterbury so much he has written a pocket pictorial guide to the city, and occasionally leads people on a walking tour of Canterbury.
On this Canterbury walking tour, you will learn about the history of the city, its people, the legend and legacy of Thomas Beckett, and the stories behind some of the city’s iconic buildings including the Westgate Tower, the Marlowe Theatre, and the magnificent Cathedral.
The tour is FREE, but you must book a place as there is a limit of 20 people who can go on this tour.
You should congregate at Warnborough College on 18 Lower Bridge Street ready for a 2pm start on July 14th.
The tour will normally take around 2 hours.
Please wear comfortable walking shoes!!!
Note: Dr Julian Ng is not a Blue Badge guide or official Canterbury city guide, nor does he claim to be an expert on the City’s history.
Note2: If there is sufficient interest, a second walk may be organised for those who can’t make the first one.
